At Cummins Bridgeway, we believe every person and every company can make a difference. In June of 2008, Cummins Bridgeway launched a new community service program with the mission of serving and improving the communities in which Cummins Bridgeway does business and unleash the power of Cummins by leveraging our people, connections, money, products and services to make a difference.

School Supply Drive |
| |
 |
The Cummins Bridgeway distribution center held a school supply drive for a local elementary school over the past month. The branch accepted spare change from employees and customer, collected soda cans, and collected scrap metal from the branch as well as from community members. The soda cans and scrap metal were brought to a collection center and redeemed for cash. In total $325 was collected and used to buy the supplies requested by the local school.
We also contacted our local paper supply companies who were gracious enough to donate tissue paper and plastic storage bags towards the cause. |

Food Fight! |
| |
The "food fight" between the Dearborn and the New Hudson branches officially ended this week! The branches had a contest to see which location could collect more non-perishables for area food banks. Dearborn won with 250 items, New Hudson collected 115. New Hudson will be supplying Dearborn with a pizza lunch this week.
All in all, both branches won as we had great participation from employees and many people will benefit! |

Spare Change Jar - Grove City Branch |
| |
 |
|
The Grove City Branch has opened a "spare change jar" for collection towards our August School Supply drive.
Ohio does not have a deposit on soda cans, so we have also setup can drops around the building. We will be taking the cans to the recycling center in Columbus for more monies towards the school supply drive.
Special thanks to Sandy D. for the fine artwork she created to advertise the new program! |

Indiana Flood Relief |
| |
The employees of Cummins Bridgeway collected $6,078.00 for the Indiana Flood Relief Fund. This money will be sent to the Cummins Foundation which will then match our funds and donate a total of over $12,000 to those people affected by recent flooding in Indiana. We would like to thank each of our branches for efforts in raising money for this initiative. |
